Through the wonders of a Google shared calendar, I was able to get an event tracking feature enabled faster than I thought. Sometimes I need to follow my own advice and abide by Occam's Razor rather than trying to find the most elegant and flexible solution. Somewhere down the road we may still swap out Google calendar for something more customizable, but in the meantime it should do a nice job of helping NEWE members find interesting events throughout New England.
